Dear Senator,

Soon you may have the opportunity to save women's lives.

As you know, the right to legal abortion hangs by a razor-thin 5-4 margin in the U.S. Supreme Court. If one or more Justices retire, President Bush could pack the court with anti-abortion Justices, relegating women to the days of back-alley abortions.

In such an event, I urge you to use your position of influence to lead a filibuster in the Senate. Your daughters, your sisters, and your grand-daughters will retain the right to control their own bodies only with your courage and leadership.

Our voices must be heard in Washington. We're counting on you to represent us: we won’t go back.
